Vision Forum is a wonderful place to find resources to encourage the godly family. VF also sponsors conferences across the country. For example, Scott Brown will be heading up the Puritan Family Reformation Conference in Wake Forest, NC on May 9-10. He has this to say:

It's time to be about the business of recovering the Biblical doctrine of the family in our generation. The church in each generation is in need of reformation and renewal on several fronts. Family reformation is not the only area, but it is one of the key areas. This can only happen when the church has a high view of God, as evidenced by a high view of the Word of God. Reformation will break out when we take seriously what He has said, instead of taking Him lightly.

I tend to agree. So if there's any way you or your family can make this conference, do it! This one won't work for our family because of prior commitments, but it sounds great and we'll look forward to hearing about it from others!

Our world needs change, Lord. I do believe the family will make the difference. Open our eyes, Lord, to what we need to be doing. May we be serious about the business of Christianity. May we not take that privilege, nor the responsibility that goes with it, lightly. Begin with my family, Lord. Help us make a difference where we are.
