What's a Family of 10 to Do... ???

...when the dryer has been out for days and there's no clothesline???

This is what we do...



Each load gets spread out all over the family room (and sometimes on the kitchen table) to dry. The family room fan runs and speeds the process up a bit. It really isn't too bad... unless, of course, we want to use the family room to do something together as a family or the kitchen table to eat a meal together. The good part is we have to keep up with the laundry, or things don't get dry in time.

This is the second time our dryer has gone out this year. The last time it was for 10 days. This time it's only been five days! The repairman had a part on his truck that will hopefully keep our dryer functional until the new part arrives next week.

It's been a tad challenging and somewhat humorous. I'm convinced, though, that I'd rather it be the dryer that goes out than the washer. Even with our mountains of laundry, it's still manageable.
